After writing many travel diaries of my adventures, my short stint as a newsradio show editor and an unfinished 100% Frankfurt travel book transcript I once drafted (yes really!), it was about time for a blog.
So here I am, Eline, 28 years old, Dutch, nice to meet you! You could call me a young professional with a strong personal objective to live abroad as much as possible in worldly cities across the world. Oh and trying to pretend to be a local whereever I go – which honestly can be quite a challenge with my blond Dutchie face, so yes I cheer out loud if someone asks me for directions.
Having meanwhile lived and worked in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and now permanently relocated to New York last year, I just always love the new adventure to make each city your own. It is so awesome to discover all the hidden gems in your new hometown to be, making lists of go-to places and venture out every single day to find that great new thing to do. And time flies, it goes by way way way too fast. So as a note to self I therefore thought why not keep track of it all and share it along the way!
